Keeping Your Pipeline Organized
How the board works
Each role starts in the Audition column. After you record and send your files, move it to Submitted. If the agency invites you back, drag the card to Callback. Add notes about file formats, character accents, or special directions so you don't have to search through emails later.
Common mistakes
Voice actors sometimes forget to note which microphone or processing chain a particular agency prefers. Add that detail in the materials field. Also, double-check deadline dates: a role due Friday at 10 AM is different from one due Friday at midnight. Be specific.
Why this matters
Casting directors notice when you respond quickly and follow instructions. A clean submission record helps you spot patterns: which agencies call back most often, which role types fit your voice, and where to spend more energy. Over a few months, the board becomes a simple career journal.
Backup your data
Use the Export button to copy a text summary of all active roles. Paste it into a note or email it to yourself. Do this weekly. The board saves in your browser, but browsers can reset. A quick export takes five seconds and protects your records.
Questions voice actors ask
- How many roles can I track?
- There is no fixed limit. The board handles dozens of cards. For very large lists, use the browser search (Ctrl+F) to find a specific project.
- Can I edit a card after I create it?
- Yes. Click the edit icon on any card to change the project name, agency, deadline, materials, or status.
- What does the color coding mean?
- Cards with a deadline within 2 days show an amber left border. Overdue cards show a red border. This helps you scan quickly.
- Is my data shared with anyone?
- No. Everything stays in your browser's localStorage. No account, no server, no tracking.
